Elderflower juice
One of the best summer drinks! It is difficult to buy an elderflower juice that is so good since the one you have made yourself.
Ingredients:
- 40-50 flower clusters
- 3 lemons
- 2 liters of boiling water
- 1 1/2 kg Dansukker Granulated sugar
- 50 g citric acid
Rinse the flower clusters. Place the flowers in a bucket or large bowl. Rinse the lemons thoroughly and slice them thinly. Place the lemon slices on the flowers.
Boil the water, add the sugar and stir until it dissolves. Stir in the citric acid. Pour the hot liquid over the flowers and lemons.
Cover the bucket/bowl and let it cool for 3 days. Pour the juice into a sieve and let the juice drain. Pour into well-cleaned bottles. Store in the refrigerator or freeze the juice.
So good to quench your thirst on a hot summer day!
